Product Safety under the GPSR Regulation

Regulation (EU) 2023/988 of the European Parliament and of the Council entered into force on 13 December 2024.

The aim of this regulation is to ensure the general safety of products made available to consumers within the European Union. In particular, it seeks to protect consumers and their safety, as part of the EU’s legal framework.

Consumers must receive all necessary warnings, safety information and instructions for use in a clear and understandable manner.

What does GPSR mean for our customers?

dotMedia sp. z o.o. guarantees that all products offered comply with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2023/988.
Products that are used as intended pose little to no risk to the health and safety of our customers.

We have conducted a range of safety assessments to evaluate the mechanical, physical, and chemical properties of our products and packaging. Based on these assessments, we provide the following findings:

Packaging:

Our smaller products are packaged in plastic pouches, sealed with a cardboard label attached by office staples. These are shipped either in padded envelopes or, in the case of larger sticker formats, in cardboard packaging secured with rubber adhesive tape.

Choking hazard:

Small foil elements, stickers, or plastic bags may pose a choking risk for small children.

Risk of injury:

Please take care when handling the office staples used in packaging – they may cause minor scratches or cuts if pried open with fingers. Cuts may also occur from sharp edges of the foil or paper used in the products.

Fire hazard:

Please note that the materials used for packaging and the products themselves are flammable. Do not store them near open flames.
